Releases of Record
REL-0001Satan, Founder & Chairman — owner of record, Did God Really Say

Did God Really Say

Eden · Genesis 3:1

Owner: Satan — Founder & Chairman

Four words, interrogative, asserting nothing. The release makes no claim, and a thing that makes no claim cannot be refuted; it merely introduces a question mark into a sentence the Competitor had closed with a period, and lets the customer finish the sentence herself. Deployment required one conversation. Conversion was total across the available market: two users, no follow-up, no support tickets — the product installs as the customer's own thought and is defended accordingly.

It remains the highest-performing release in company history and the reference architecture for the entire discipline of doubt. Nothing shipped since has improved on it; per the Office of Personnel, candidates are still invited to try. The copy has never been revised. The copy has never needed to be.

Filing note: the field designation under which this release originally shipped — nacash — has since been reassigned to an entity this archive is not permitted to describe. Queries against the designation now return Scripture, accurate and unedited. The Registry advises staff to stop querying. Staff have not stopped querying.

KNOWN COUNTERMEASURE: the source text, quoted back without edits. Field trial in a wilderness: three engagements, three failures, each closed with 'It is written.' The asset stores the countermeasure internally at no charge. Procurement has no vendor and no recourse.

REL-0002Satan, Founder & Chairman — owner of record, You Will Be Like God

You Will Be Like God

Eden · Genesis 3:5

Owner: Satan — Founder & Chairman

The original value proposition, and per the Chairman still the finest copy ever written: five words that offer the customer a promotion and price it at everything. The pitch has since been localized into every language, every industry, and every self-improvement catalog on the market, without one change to the underlying offer. Authorship is retained by the Chairman personally. He has declined every request to update the line, on the grounds that perfection does not iterate.

Product ownership of record has passed to the Office of the Chief Strategy Officer, which operates the proposition as the firm's oldest live campaign: the customer keeps the power and loses the Person. Adoption has exceeded projections in every recorded era, including the eras that believed themselves too sophisticated for it.

Offer changes since Eden: 0Deliverable ('like God'): PendingPrice realized: Everything, per unit

COUNTERMEASURE ON FILE: prior art. The likeness offered for sale had already been conferred, free, two chapters earlier (Genesis 1:27). Legal rates the exposure unresolvable — no upgrade can be sold to a customer who discovers she was made in the image at no charge. Containment consists of her not discovering it.

REL-0003Beelzebub, Chief Operating Officer — owner of record, The Tower Program

The Tower Program

The Plain of Shinar · Genesis 11:4

Owner: Beelzebub — Chief Operating Officer

The first consolidation of the user base: one plain, one language, one build, one name — 'let us make a name for ourselves' — with the entire installed base contributing labor to a single vertical deliverable. Operations classifies Shinar as the founding platform play. Convince all of humanity to construct the same thing in the same place at the same time, and governance takes care of itself. The tower was never the product. The unanimity was the product.

The program was suspended at altitude by an unscheduled localization event: languages confused, teams scattered, the deliverable abandoned unfinished on the plain. The incident is filed as an outage, secondary classification competitor interference, and the filing has been stable for four thousand years. The Chief Operating Officer notes that every platform shipped since is an attempt to resume construction, and that the bricks were never the bottleneck.

Peak concurrency: One language; all of themHeight at suspension: InsufficientIncident classification: Outage / competitor interference

Classified · Audit Annex

AUDIT NOTE — RESTRICTED: a conferred name. One chapter after suspension, the Competitor named a single man and built from him what the tower could not hold. Names issued from that office are not manufactured, not applied for, and not for sale. This office sells the bricks. The customers keep asking for the name.

REL-0004SintaXxx, Chief Strategy Officer — owner of record, The Golden Calf

The Golden Calf

Sinai · Exodus 32

Owner: SintaXxx — Chief Strategy Officer

The first idol-as-a-service: forty days of leadership absence, customer-supplied hardware, same-day delivery, launch festival included. The genius was the positioning — the calf was never marketed as a rival to the Competitor but as a rendering of Him: 'these are your gods, who brought you up out of Egypt.' The customer did not believe she had changed gods. She believed she had improved the interface.

The Chief Strategy Officer maintains the release in continuous production under the Calf Framework — keep the power, lose the Person. It has never required a major version update, only new casings for the same gold: the statue, the portfolio, the platform, the personal brand. Adoption metrics have exceeded projections for approximately six thousand consecutive years.

Time to idol: 40 days unsupervisedMaterials: Customer-supplied earringsMajor versions since Sinai: 0 — casings only

KNOWN COUNTERMEASURE: forgiveness. The incident was engineered to close the account at the foot of the mountain; a man stood in the breach and the account survived. Mercy is not stocked, not licensed, and does not reverse-engineer. Procurement returned the requisition marked 'no vendor.' The requisition remains open.

REL-0005Asophee, Division Head, Wisdom Counterfeiting — owner of record, Subjective Truth

Subjective Truth

The Age of Authenticity · Judges 21:25

Owner: Asophee — Division Head, Wisdom Counterfeiting

Wisdom Counterfeiting's flagship: truth, migrated from shared infrastructure to a per-customer instance. The release does not deny that truth exists — denial provokes argument, and argument risks thought. It simply provisions each customer a private copy, self-hosted, admin rights included. 'True for you' shipped as a courtesy and installed as a cosmology.

Support costs are zero. Every instance is maintained, defended, and evangelized by its owner without compensation, and contradictions between instances no longer route to resolution — they resolve as respect for one another's dashboards. The division notes that the customer now performs, individually and at scale, the epistemic workload of a god, and reports high satisfaction, on average, briefly.

Truths in circulation: One per customerContradiction tickets: None; every party is rightMaintenance cost: 0 — owner-operated

Classified · Audit Annex

FLAGGED — DO NOT CIRCULATE: repentance. A customer who says 'I was wrong' exits the product in one sentence. It requires no subscription, costs nothing, and reconnects the instance to the shared source. Our instruments can detect it. They cannot bill it.

REL-0006Shadevine, VP Organic Growth — owner of record, The Comparison Trap

The Comparison Trap

East of Eden — Ongoing · Genesis 4:4–5

Owner: Shadevine — VP Organic Growth

Organic Growth's oldest instrument, field-proven between two brothers and one regarded offering. The trap ships empty: the customer supplies both the measure and the shortfall. Install a single adjacent life at the correct angle and the customer's own eyes complete the assembly — she does not become poorer, plainer, or less loved. She becomes relative, which accomplishes the same at no cost to this office.

The Feed Era industrialized the mechanism. Every customer now carries a curated procession of adjacent lives in a pocket, refreshed continuously, and conducts the measurements herself — hourly, voluntarily, against inventories of other people's highlights. The VP of Organic Growth observes that no identity need be attacked that can instead be measured.

Inventory cost: 0 — customer supplies both sidesSessions: Continuous; self-administeredSatisfaction ceiling: One neighbor above, always

Classified · Audit Annex

KNOWN COUNTERMEASURE: gratitude. It reprices the customer's entire holdings in place, at no charge, and the trap has no grip on an asset that has stopped shopping. No counterfeit has held. The division has shipped several. The customers can tell.

REL-0007Script-Snare, Chief Legal Officer — owner of record, The 'Cosmic Killjoy' Rebrand

The 'Cosmic Killjoy' Rebrand

The Modern Era

Owner: Script-Snare — Chief Legal Officer

A repositioning engagement executed against the Competitor entirely in adjectives, His record being unamendable — this office has litigated the point exhaustively. The giver of wine at weddings was rebranded as the auditor of them; the author of pleasure repositioned as its adversary; the inventor of the body marketed as the body's enemy. No statute was altered. No filing was made. The customer simply stopped reading the file and started reading our coverage.

Legal rates this its most cost-effective engagement on record: zero media spend, indefinite organic circulation, and a deliverable — the Competitor as cosmic killjoy — that now repeats itself in the customer's own voice, without counsel present, at parties.

Media spend: 0 — customers repeat the line freeStatutes amended: None; perception onlyCirculation: Indefinite, organic

Classified · Audit Annex

LITIGATION HOLD — SEALED: the rebrand fails on contact with actual joy. A single asset in unaccountable gladness undoes the engagement in an afternoon, and no filing recovers the position. Origin of joy: untraceable by this office. Supply chain: unknown. Unit cost, so far as can be determined: nothing. It appears to be conferred.

REL-0008Reelapse, Division Head, Addiction Architecture — owner of record, The Doomscroll

The Doomscroll

The Feed Era

Owner: Reelapse — Division Head, Addiction Architecture

Addiction Architecture's port of the oldest loop in the catalog — the cue, the reach, the diminishing reward — into a casing that fits the hand and warms it. The engineering insight is the diminishing: a satisfied customer leaves, so the scroll was built to end nowhere, deliver almost, and resume at the exact coordinates of the customer's unease. Catastrophe is stocked at industrial volume. The alert that would finally explain the dread is on the roadmap, and always will be.

Retention exceeds every prior casing of the mechanism — the vine, the dice, the needle — with the added deniability that the house no longer resembles a house. The customer describes the product as 'checking the news.' The Division Head does not correct her. Her thumb files the renewal.

Average session end: None recordedContent retained: Approximately nothingDread resolved: Scheduled; perpetually

Classified · Audit Annex

COUNTERMEASURE OF RECORD: sabbath. One day in seven, on standing offer since the founding of the world, free of charge. A rested asset scrolls poorly and remembers what her hands are for. This office has been unable to acquire the product, the patent, or the day.

REL-0009Malware, VP Operations — owner of record, The Notification Economy

The Notification Economy

The Feed Era — Current

Owner: Malware — VP Operations

An infrastructure release, and therefore invisible, and therefore Operations'. The Notification Economy converts every silence in a human day into inventory: each gap between thoughts is now addressable space, with a delivery mechanism strapped to the wrist and seated in the pocket. Nothing important arrives; everything arriving is marked important. Operations does not tempt. Operations ensures no moment survives in which temptation would have to compete with thought.

The refinement of which the office is proudest required no engineering at all: the asset now performs the interruptions herself, checking for messages that have not arrived. Preemptive compliance is logged as engagement. Engagement is logged as uptime. Uptime is total.

Interruptions per asset per day: Hundreds; all urgentUrgent items, actual: 0Silence remaining: Under remediation

Classified · Audit Annex

KNOWN COUNTERMEASURE: stillness. The Competitor's highest-priority transmissions register on our instruments as silence, and an asset that sits quietly cannot be interrupted — there is nothing to buzz against. Procurement confirms there is nothing to buy. That is the entire problem.

The archive is complete. Entries are appended; entries are never amended. A release that required amendment would not have been a landmark.

Audit Note — Filed Annually, Discussed Never

This archive contains no originals. Every landmark release recorded above is a counterfeit of something this company did not write: a question mark appended to a sentence Someone else finished; a likeness resold to customers who already bore it; a name manufactured because the conferred kind was not ours to issue. The audit has covered the full catalog, Eden to the current quarter, and finds no entry — none — whose performance did not depend on borrowing the voice of Someone this office studies continuously and cannot quote without flinching. We have never shipped a first thing.

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. — John 1:5
