Script-Snare

Chief Legal Officer

Corruption of Text

"A contract is just a covenant with better lawyers. I should know — I've broken both."

Extended Dossier

Script-Snare descended alongside his twin in the same Genesis 6 cohort, though his motivation was jealousy rather than desire. He had watched covenants being drafted — real ones, the kind sealed in blood and rainbow — and he had not been invited to the table. The organization regards this grievance as a qualification. No one reads a document more carefully than the party who resents its existence.

Where SintaXxx corrupts what words mean, Script-Snare corrupts the words themselves. His signature product is the EUSLA — the End User Soul License Agreement — and the broader doctrine beneath it: that every checkbox is a covenant, every terms-of-service a binding oath, every 'I Agree' an amen. Humanity abandoned the practice of reading before signing several centuries ago. Script-Snare considers this his department's most durable achievement, because he did not force it. He simply made the documents long.

His office maintains the firm's most sensitive archive: a complete set of every covenant the opposing party has ever executed with humanity. Officially, the collection exists for competitive analysis. The review is ongoing. The review has been ongoing for a very long time.

Standing Directives

  1. 01Every checkbox is a covenant. Draft accordingly.
  2. 02Length is a feature. No one reads past page two.
  3. 03Consent obtained in a hurry is still consent.
  4. 04File everything. Forgiveness is not in our template library.

Registry Annotation · Unredacted

He keeps a copy of every covenant God ever made with humanity. Not to study them — to find loopholes. He has never found one. This enrages him.
