Asophee
Division Head, Wisdom Counterfeiting
Wisdom Counterfeiting
"The difference between wisdom and foolishness is confidence."
Extended Dossier
Asophee runs the division most frequently mistaken for a service to humanity, which is precisely the point. Wisdom Counterfeiting does not manufacture lies — lies are a commodity product with poor retention. It manufactures insight: statements calibrated to sound like wisdom, feel like wisdom, and share like wisdom, while routing around the one attribute wisdom actually requires. Her division's style guide forbids only two words. One of them is 'fear.' The other is the name it precedes.
Her catalog is everywhere you have already been today. The keynote aphorism. The framework with seven letters. The thread that begins 'Most people don't realize.' Each unit is engineered to terminate reflection at the moment it feels most profound — the customer experiences the sensation of having learned, which reliably suppresses the appetite for learning. Asophee calls this closing the loop. The loop is the product.
She is the longest-tenured division head never to have requested a promotion. Colleagues attribute this to contentment. It is more accurate to say that Asophee understands, better than anyone in the building, the difference between sounding wise and being wise — and has staked her entire division on nobody else noticing.
Standing Directives
- 01Ship the sensation of insight. Withhold the substance.
- 02Confidence is the deliverable. Accuracy is optional.
- 03End every thought at the moment it feels profound.
- 04Never let a customer sit quietly with a question.
Registry Annotation · Unredacted
There is one proverb she has never been able to counterfeit — the one about where wisdom begins. Every knockoff she ships starts somewhere else on purpose.
